February ended much like it began. The Groundhog Day weather map showed North Carolina temperatures in the 60’s-70’s, and near record-breaking highs continued throughout the month. The golf course has been humming with activity while crocus, daffodils and forsythia confirm the early arrival of spring. In downtown Hendersonville, sidewalk cafes are serving customers in shirtsleeves enjoying the balmy weather.
In our news article about Hendersonville "City of Four Seasons," we quoted the lyrics to “Camelot” where–"winter is forbidden ‘til December, and exits March the second on the dot.” We’ll see if Hendersonville weather continues to emulate Camelot this March. So far, it’s as gentle as a lamb.
