The Porter Center for the Performing Arts

Its acclaimed concert series has brought to the stage some of the world’s most talented artists including musicians like Doc Watson, Herbie Hancock, Harry Belafonte, the Emerson String Quartet and the Afro-Cuban All-Stars. Brevard Little Theatre

In addition to the performances by Brevard College students at The Porter Center for the Performing Arts, Brevard NC is also home to the Brevard Little Theatre, the town’s only volunteer community theatre. Established in 1935 by Beulah Zachary, it has grown into a large community theatre with a major outreach in the community.
