With a vibrant and diverse membership, the Club participates in many civic and charitable projects in addition to a wide array of sporting and social activities. Groups plan projects as varied as “Women Build for Habitat” to “Plant a Tree” for Earth Day. For relaxation, the “Nine, Wine & Dine Club” celebrates an afternoon of camaraderie with nine holes of golf, a glass of wine and dinner at the clubhouse. These are just a few of the many aspects of club life at Cummings Cove that make it a special place to live, play and thrive.

Group activities abound at Cummings Cove with the clubhouse being the hub of most activities. Every month something special is happening at the clubhouse from seasonal parties to sock hops and mystery “whodunit” nights.
Men and women’s golf groups enjoy lunches and dinners together as do bridge groups with dinner bridge and party bridge which is always a favorite! If you’re real serious about bridge, there’s duplicate bridge for you too! There’s a card game for everybody at Cummings Cove with groups meeting to play hearts, spades, cribbage, etc.
Several active book clubs meet monthly to read and discuss selected books. Anyone with an idea for another book club is welcome to organize one. A growing library offers many good choices for topics.
At the Sports Complex, men’s and women’s tennis groups are eager to welcome newcomers. Fitness classes include Pilates, Nia and water aerobics. Pool parties are also popular.
Within 15 minutes of Cummings Cove, a world of possibilities awaits with much to explore. A hiking group meets monthly for a nearby adventure in our many beautiful state and national parks with amazing views, waterfalls, flora and fauna. The Lunch Bunch seeks out new dining experiences with a long list of restaurants in the surrounding communities.
Each of these group activities is an opportunity for people to get to know each other and form lasting friendships. Cummings Cove has been praised as a warm and friendly community by people who moved here from other areas and found immediate acceptance in this special place.
